Malegaon (Press Release) Malegaon Corporation was established on December 17, 2001 in the name of city development. But in the last 19 years there has been a decline in the name of development.
After becoming a corporation, government authorities, political leaders and local contractors turned the city into a ruin. Dirty politics was done in the name of development and the corporation collected thausonds crores rupees in taxes from the poor people.
Black Day was observed on December 17 by Malegaon Development Front. Large posters were put up on the city's main roads. In which the real reality of the city and the pictures of the decline were put which shows that the condition of the city has deteriorated and the city is deprived of basic problems and facilities.
On the occasion, MDF President Ehtesham Bakerywala presented a black rose to the Corporation Commissioner. And other members presented a rose to all government employees. He was also asked why he was offered a black rose. The answer is probably well known.
Ehtesham Bakerywala stated in the media that we tried to tell the corporation commissioner that bad work should be stopped by giving black flowers. Construction work in the city should be standard then we will offer you red roses.
Imran Rashid said that the MDF was constantly protesting against the ongoing corruption in the corporation. He said that Aziz Kallu Stadium would not be allowed to become a dumping zone. He asked the people to question the political leaders and government authorities about the work and demand accountability as the corporation is run on public donations i.e. taxes.
